Broadway House

"We hold our Members Forum and Fundraising Mutual Interest Group meetings at Broadway House because it is perfectly located in the heart of London which makes it ideal for our Members to get to, particularly as it is just across the road from St James’ Park tube station. The Council Chamber is perfect for our conferences and has almost a regal feel to it but facilities aside, it is the efficient and professional Broadway House team that really stands out for us. Nothing is too much trouble for them and everybody is super friendly. This gives us confidence when organising our conferences as we know we are dealing with a great team. The quality and diversity of the food was also remarked upon by many of our members who attended the conference. Food is really delicious at Broadway House and our members have commented that the lunchtime menu is first class. We would highly recommend this venue to potential customers and look forward to returning in September and October."

"The London Energy Project regularly holds training sessions and interactive workshops at Broadway House. The reason why we continue to choose this venue is because of its central London location, very close to an underground station and well-served by other public transportation. The team at Broadway House are very helpful and friendly and are always on hand throughout the day to help with IT, room temperature and last minute photocopying. Using the venue regularly has additional benefits in that as event organisers, we know what to expect. Our delegates are also used to the venue so they are familiar with it and immediately associate Broadway House with the London Energy Project. So why Broadway House? Great service, (this venue has unusually low staff turnover for London), a fantastic location and superb facilities – as an event organiser, you couldn’t ask for a better combination."

Woodland Grange

"We held a three-day and a two-day training event at Woodland Grange in July 2012 and in January 2013 for our young employees undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh’s Business Gold Award. We couldn’t have asked for a better location as Woodland Grange is in the Midlands, close to all of the major motorway networks, so it was ideal as our staff are located all over the UK. Part of the event involved them going on a hike so the rural setting right in the heart of Warwickshire gave them the perfect opportunity to do that. The size of rooms and the facilities were excellent, the food superb and staff were all very helpful. Everything ran so smoothly so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Having run events at hotels in the past, I can certainly say that the events at Woodland Grange were the most relaxed in terms of organising; no worries about choosing food or times to serve it, and no chasing up projectors or other equipment. Refreshments were on hand at all times and it wasn’t a problem if we over ran our timetable or finished a little earlier than expected. The rooms had all the projection equipment needed at no extra cost. Above all, staff at Woodland Grange were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend Woodland Grange. "

"We recently held one of our national conferences for 60 people at Woodland Grange. The venue was superb in every aspect. As organiser of the event, my job was made easy by the care and help of the Woodland Grange team who treated everyone with absolute professionalism and warmth. From my initial enquiry about a potential date right through to the support which I received before and during the event, the entire team - from reception staff to the managers and night team - made me feel that nothing was too much trouble to ensure that the conference was successful. What stood out most has to be the level of service provided and the friendly, 'can do, it is no problem' attitude of the staff at Woodland Grange. Ample parking, superb facilities and value for money also played a key role in our decision to hold our conference at Woodland Grange. The restaurant was superb and managed so efficiently by Debbie who is professional, warm and friendly - a great balance. The food was wonderful and we received very positive feedback from our delegates on how much they had all enjoyed it. We also liked the relaxed attitude to tea, coffee and refreshments, which were complimentary and continually re-stocked throughout the day so no counting or budgeting to see if we could afford to have an extra break. Our Board of nine directors hold their annual Directors’ Seminar and dinner at Woodland Grange each November. There has never been any suggestion of holding this, or our biannual conferences elsewhere, even though I get approaches from other venues from time to time, because frankly, we all love Woodland Grange! "I used the Engineers’ House venue sight-unseen, which was a risk I would never normally take, but my timing meant that I had to organise and book my event in very short order. Since I had my Chairman and some VIP's in attendance, I was a little nervous, however, Martyn and the whole team worked closely with us and made sure that our guests were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. My guests commented on the ambience of Engineers’ House - a relaxed yet efficient atmosphere, super catering, and the coffee (always a vital aspect) free-flowing and high quality. I’m looking forward to a return visit."

"We recently held a series of leadership training workshops for companies seeking to improve the effectiveness of their managers and the teams they lead. We chose Woodland Grange because of its accessible location, close to all of the major motorways yet in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. In addition, the meeting rooms and training facilities at Woodland Grange are superb, as are its excellent service standards and the comfort of its bedrooms, availability of informal areas and the value-for-money it represents for my clients. Above all, it was the people at Woodland Grange who made the biggest difference. We have been running courses for companies in hotels and conference centres all over the UK since 2005 and I can honestly say that staff at Woodland Grange are the best we have come across so far."

"I held a training day for external consultants recently at Woodland Grange. There were eight delegates in total. I selected Woodland Grange because of its excellent location but also because I had used the venue before and liked it. Although we have our own suite of training rooms, they were fully booked for this date so I wanted somewhere close to the office, accessible and with the right facilities. What is really lovely about Woodland Grange is that they provide everything, from teas, coffees and home-made cookies to excellent IT equipment, fast internet connection and bright, airy meeting rooms. If I could hold all my meetings at Woodland Grange I would but unfortunately our budget doesn’t stretch to it!"

"Woodland Grange is an absolutely superb venue. It's light, modern, spacious and welcoming as well as being easy to get to. As soon as you walk in you get a really good feeling! All the training rooms are extremely well equipped, everything a trainer and delegates could want really. The food is always lovely, great quality and a wide selection of dishes. There's nothing worse than a plate of curled up sandwiches at lunchtime and you certainly don't get that here! The staff are always so friendly too, nothing is too much trouble. I've been using Woodland Grange for all my workshops for over a year now and won't be going anywhere else! It's just great for me to know that I can turn up, run my event, safe in the knowledge that everything will be taken care of and I don't need to worry. Thank you Woodland Grange!!"

"We chose to hold our international investment road show, ‘Invest in Ukraine 2013’ at Broadway House because of its superb location right in the heart of Westminster, close to the tube, hotels and to the office of the Ukrainian Business Centre in London. We were looking for a space for more than 50 people and the Council Chamber at Broadway House ideally suited us. What’s more, the day delegate rate offered great value for money. All services provided during the day were very professional and our guests were impressed with the excellent conference facilities and catering. The team at Broadway House made it very easy for our organisers to get in touch with reception staff, technicians, kitchen staff and managers, who all responded quickly and professionally to our needs. On behalf of everyone at the Ukrainian Business Centre, we would like to thank the Broadway House team, and particularly Amanda Sutton, for ensuring that our event was a resounding success."

"It was an absolute pleasure to return to Woodland Grange for our annual conference which saw our team of 95 gather at this superb venue for a lively two-day event. It went extremely well and I have to congratulate the Woodland Grange team on their efficient handling of the entire event, and for making us all feel so welcome and looked after. The food was spot-on and seemingly effortless yet great thought had obviously gone into the menu, which was fresh, seasonal and local. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better conference experience."

The catering was also first class, from the tea/coffee facilities to lunch. I cannot praise you, your staff and the venue enough. "We return time and time again to Engineers’ House as the location, access to public transport, availability of parking, the food and the atmosphere of the venue are spot on. However our main reason for returning is that our clients enjoy the venue, it is designed especially for training and the approachability and friendliness of the staff make the events really enjoyable. It also provides excellent value for money. The staff always stand out for us - they remember you from month to month and welcome you by name. They all offer help when needed and provide support when required.
