LIGHTS - CAMERA - ACTION at Engineers’ House

The stage was set this month when “Calling The Shots” spent time filming a new Bristol based film using the front facade of Engineers` House as the White House and one of the internal Executive suites as the Oval Office!! 

The film ‘Shaun of the Lockstock & Hood’ a spoof of three previous block buster films has been  funded by the UK film council and skill set as part of the a second Light Initiative for the Bristol BME (Black & Minority Ethnic) . 

The storyline covers President Barak  Obama  calling David Cameron from the Oval Office  to discuss the seriousness of an outbreak  “tiger flu” a new super bug. 

Martyn Bowen, Venue Manager says “over recent years Engineers` House with it`s glorious location in the exclusive Clifton Down has been the chosen location for a number of period dramas and BBC’s Casualty drama series.”
