The picturesque market towns of Stamford and Uppingham are both within 20 minutes drive and for those wishing to sample a little of England’s heritage, Oakham Castle, Rockingham Castle, Grimsthorpe Castle, Belvoir Castle, Burghley House and Belton House are also only a short car journey away.
Nearby Rutland Water provides a haven for outdoor activities from off road cycling and water sports to walking, climbing or abseiling on the popular Rockblok and tackling the challenging high ropes course.
Within a short car journey the choice of activities is wider still, with golf, horse-riding, fishing, gardens to visit and even pork pie making in nearby Melton Mowbray.
